Let's face it. A career pilot has to make every effort to try to stay in shape. The catered food is usually full of preservatives and salty. The airplane dries out our bodies. And long days of flying require nothing more than sitting on our tails monitoring the aircraft. By the time we get to the hotel, we're tired and starving, so we grab a few beers and some bar food and then go to sleep.
It's a recipe for a very unhealthy body.
